Mathew Michael McClain Montour Falls: Mathew Michael McClain, age 22, of Montour Falls, NY died unexpectedly on Tuesday November 1, 2016 in Montour Falls, NY. There are no prior calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday (Nov. 12) in Tyrone Union Cemetery, Tyrone, NY; with a Celebration of his Life reception following at the Dundee American Legion, Spring St. in Dundee, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a memorial fund set up for Mathew's children at GoFundMe.com. Mathew was born June 1, 1994 in the town of Urbana, NY, the son of Mark Anthony McClain and Tonya Renee Rumsey. He graduated from High School in 2012; and was currently employed by Burger King, in Watkins Glen, NY. Mathew loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He is loved and will be missed forever by his mother Tonya Renee Rumsey of Wake Forest, NC, his father Mark Anthony McClain of Dundee, a son Trey Bryant of Yulee, FL, a sister Katlynn Clark of Paragould, Arkansas, a brother Mark A. McClain, Jr. of Franklinton, NC; girl-friend Kayla Simpson of Horseheads, NY, maternal grandmother Phyllis Robertson of Fernandina, FL; Maternal Great Grandmother Doris Rumsey of Dundee, a niece Daphne McClain; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
