Obituary of Thomas B. Krause

Thomas B. Krause Dundee: Thomas B. Krause, age 45, of Dundee, NY died accidentally Sunday July 14, 2013 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, in Fayetteville, N.C. from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Friends are invited to call from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Saturday (July 27) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee; where a memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon with Pastor John White officiating. Inurnment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee, N.Y.; with a reception following at the Penn Yan Assembly of God Church. In lieu of flowers it is respectfully, and gratefully requested that memorial contributions for his sons education fund; be sent to the family at 4557 Dibble Rd. Dundee, 14837. Tommy was born October 12, 1967 in Dover, NJ, the son of the late Robert H. Krause and Linda J. McPeek Krause. Moving to Dundee as a young boy; he graduated from Dundee Central School in 1986. On May 1, 1999 he married Michele K. Sellinger in Stanley, NY. Tom was the owner of the former TBK Trucking Company until 1999. He was a self employed Logger, and Truck Driver until a back injury disabled him in 2010. An avid race fan, and driver in the 80's and 90's, having raced Small Block Modified #27, and Sprint Car Class #7K; he will be remembered working in the pits helping many local drivers over the years, most recently Rich Karlnoski. If he wasn't getting greasy working on a race car, he was following his two favorite sports teams, the N.Y. Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys. A devoted, loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend; he is loved and will be dearly missed by his wife of 14 years, Michele K. Krause; and their son Robert H. Krause, age 5; his mother Linda J. Krause currently of Palm Coast, FL; a brother Dale C. Krause of Dundee; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and countless friends. He was pre-deceased by a brother Robert H. Krause Jr. on July 15, 1999; and his father Robert H. Krause Sr. on Sept. 12, 2007; and his grandparents.
