Obituary of Mary Rose Gardner-Coyle-Voorheis

Mary Rose Bostwick Gardner-Coyle-Voorheis Alpine: Mary Rose Bostwick Gardner-Coyle-Voorheis, age 74, of Alpine, NY formerly of Dundee, and Mecklenberg, passed away peacefully Friday December 26, 2014 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her heartbroken family. Friends are invited to call from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. Friday (Jan. 2) at the Reynoldsville Methodist Church 5170 State Rte. 227 Burdett, NY, where her funeral service will start at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Powers Cemetery, Lawrenceville, PA at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Care First 11751 E. Corning Rd., Corning, NY 14830-3657. "Rose" was born October 13, 1940 in Elmira, NY, the daughter of the late Robert T. and Mary Rose Thomas Bostwick. She graduated from Horseheads High School in 1959 and went on to graduate from Del Kadere Beauty School of Elmira in 1960. She was a self employed Hair dresser for 35 years owning Rose's Hairstyling. A loving mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed by 3 daughters Rose E. (Rob) Gardner-Linton of Odessa, Tisha M. (Dan) Terwillegar of Mecklenburg, Beverly J. Myers at home; a son Robert W. (Ashley) Gardner of LaVerne, TN; 12 grandchildren, Jessica, Nicholas, Aaron, Britteny, Nina, Michelle, Eliza, Chloe, Aleeya, Kimberly, Katherine, and Jaeny; 2 great grandsons Aaron, and Tobias; and her Loving Caregivers Angels on Earth Paula Vail, and Gwen Franklin.
