Maranda Lee Cleveland "Mar" "Sister" Dundee: Maranda Lee Cleveland, age 17, of Dundee, NY died unexpectedly on Monday November 9, 2015 at Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester, N.Y. Friends are invited to calling hours from 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. only on Friday (Nov. 13) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee. Funeral services will be private for the family with Lay Pastor Lew Ann Giles officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions in Maranda's memory be made to the Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad, 12 Union St., Dundee, NY 14837 , the Humane Society of Yates County, P.O. Box 12, Penn Yan, NY 14527, or the Humane Society of Schuyler County 124 Marina Dr. Montour Falls, NY 14865. Maranda was born December 12, 1997 in Geneva, NY, the daughter of Thomas B. and Christina M. Rider Cleveland. A senior at Dundee Central School, attending BOCES Majoring in Cosmetology, and former Cheerleader; she had been on Honor or High Honor Roll since the 3rd grade. Maranda was "Free Spirited", a "Hipster" as she had been lovingly titled, "Marching to a beat all her own". She loved animals especially her dog Chloe. She was loved by all who knew her. She had the ability to light up a room when she walked in. She is loved and will be dearly missed by her parents Tom and Chris Cleveland; 3 brothers Jamie (Alyssa) Richardson, Aaron Richardson, Thomas D. Cleveland; maternal grandparents Phillip and Carla Rider; paternal grandparents David and Shirley Cleveland; aunts & uncles Carl (Mildred) Cleveland, Sandra (Ross) Smith, Joy Lynn (John) Cleveland Perry, Ronnie Perry, Michelle (Bobby) Rider Bassett, Tracey(Billy Joe) Rider Gilbert; close cousins Danica Perry, Joshua Smith, Andrea Perry, Kimberly Cleveland, Savanna Smith, Nathaniel Smart, Megan, Cody, and Taylor Gilbert, Talon and Ridge Wright; and her niece and nephew Alexis & Jayce Richardson.
