J C ''Bud'' Hall Dundee: J C ''Bud'' Hall, age 94, of Dundee, NY passed away on Tuesday February 9, 2016 in the comfort of his son's home with his family at his side. Friends are invited to call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday (Feb. 12) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee, NY. His funeral services will be held in Glendora, California at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Park, Glendora, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad, 12 Union St., Dundee, NY 14837. "Bud" was born December 5, 1921 in Mulberry, Arkansas, the son of the late Grover Cleveland Hall and Myrtle Beneux Hall. In 1941 living in Azusa California; he took his sweet heart to Arizona to elope, making the former Frances E. Bradley his wife. They lived in Covina, CA until her passing on March 17, 2003. In his early years, he worked as a fruit picker and as a carpenter; before taking a position with Aero Jet, where he was involved in insulating the first Atlas Missile. In the 1960's he went to work for Lockheed, in Ontario, California, retiring after more than 20 years in 1983. In his spare time, he loved collecting rocks, and always looked forward to traveling to Quartzsite, Arizona for the annual "Rock Hound" Pow-wow. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his son Frederick A. (Marilyn) Hall with whom he made his home; 4 grandchildren Timothy F. (Christina) Hall of Sacramento, CA, Donald B. Hall-Sutterby, Michael S. Sutterby, and Robyn Macy (William) Hall all of Dundee, NY; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
