Thomas Peter Trojanowski Dundee: Thomas Peter Trojanowski, age 93, of Dundee, NY died Saturday March 17, 2012 at the Sunset House in Dundee, NY. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday (Mar. 20) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee; where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gerald Vanaman officiating. Burial with Military Honor's will follow in Tyrone Union Cemetery, Tyrone, NY. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Barrington Community Church, P.O. Box 73, 4560 Old Bath Rd., Dundee, NY 14837. Thomas was born February 21, 1919 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late Joseph and Mary Trojanowski. He graduated from Bradford Central School in 1937. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. On August 29, 1942 in Bradford, NY he married the former Mildred Ella Sunderlin; she passed away on December 3, 1994. Tom had a diversified working career, having been a mechanic in Dundee Garages, was a former tool maker for Ingersoll Rand in Painted Post, Owned and Operated the Tyrone Grocery for many years; He delivered Propane for Agway, and Owned and Operated the Dundee Laundromat until his retirement in the late 1970's. On March 1, 1995 in the Barrington Community Church he married the former Mary Campbell Brace. Mr. Trojanowski was a member of Barrington Community Church. He is survived by his wife Mary Campbell Brace Trojanowski also at the Sunset House; a daughter Joan M. (Louis) LaMay; and a son William D. (Carol) Trojanowski all of Horseheads, NY; a sister Alice (Stuart) Brown of Painted Post; 2 grandsons, and their children; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his first wife, he was pre-deceased by 2 brothers John Trojanowski of Easthampton, MA, Joseph Trojanowski of Tyrone, NY, 2 sisters Eleanor York of Bradford, NY, and Regina Rychwicki of Swansea, MA.
