Beatrice M. Spears Painted Post/Dundee: Beatrice M. Spears, age 85, of Absolut Care of Three Rivers, Painted Post, NY died Wednesday May 2, 2012 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, in Penn Yan, NY. Honoring her wishes there are no prior calling hours. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family with Pastor Lawrence Semans officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee. Beatrice was born February 13, 1927 in the town of Tyrone, NY, the daughter of the late Martin and Ethel Spears Andrews Sr. On April 28, 1943 in Tyrone, she married the late Lawrence M. Spears; he passed away on November 23, 1990. Mrs. Spears attended the Altay Baptist Church. A devoted wife and mother; she loved her farm, her gardens, and flowers, riding horses and attending horse shows. She is survived by 2 daughters Joyce B. (Richard) Pierce of Dundee, Mary Ellen (Lawrence) Harvey-Zello of Liverpool, NY; 2 sons Lawrence M. (Rita) Spears of Ocala, FL, Michael (Thelma) Spears of Wellsville, NY; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 brothers Martin (Esther) Andrews Jr. of Penn Yan, Danny (Mary) Andrews of Addison, NY, George (Grace) Andrews of Dundee; a sister Shirley Radka of Penn Yan; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by 2 brothers Robert and Donald Andrews; and 2 sisters Dorothy Ameigh, and Inez Heffner.
