Kara A. Sherman
Keuka Park: Kara A. Sherman, age 48, died peacefully on Friday June 22, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.
Kara was born on July 16, 1969 in Ridgewood, NJ; the daughter of Carol de la Fuente and the late Roy de la Fuente.
Kara has been a cosmetologist since high school having worked for Looks Great in Geneva, and has been employed by Tammy's Hairstyles in Penn Yan, for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Rick Sherman, 2 daughters, Anessa and Cassandra Sherman, her mother Carol de la Fuente, and her sister, Elena de la Fuente.
Honoring her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the "Memorial Fund" under Kara's name at Lyon's National Bank. Checks may be made payable to either Cassandra Sherman or Tammy Perry with "Memorial Fund" listed as the memo.
