Obituary of Robert M. Brown

Robert M. Brown Penn Yan: Robert M. "Bob" Brown, age 68, of Penn Yan, passed away Sunday August 26, 2018 after a brief illness. Honoring his wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Bob was born October 15, 1949 in Elmira, NY, to Donald and Beatrice {Easton} Brown. He graduated from high school in Attica, NY. He retired from the New York State Department of Corrections. He married his life mate and soul mate Carol "Sue" Dombroski; and they recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. Bob's favorite thing was spending time with his wife and his fur baby Zoey. He is survived by his wife; sons, Robert (Bryn) Brown, and Paul Brown; daughters Melissa (Mark) Sheil, Jackie Brown, and Molly Brown; brother Richard (Julie) Brown; brothers in law David Dombroski, Robert Dombroski, Kenneth (Juanita) Dombroski; sisters in law Jean Crouse and Shirley Morley; 5 grandchildren, 2 aunts and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his sister, Beverly O'Neil. Arrangements were entrusted to the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee.
