Please share a memory of Natalie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Natalie Rose Pistello Dundee: Natalie Rose Pistello, age 90, formerly of Dundee, NY died Friday May 15, 2020 at The Homestead, in Penn Yan, N.Y. There are no calling hours. She will be laid to rest beside her parents in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee, NY at a private service conducted by Lay Pastor Lew Ann Giles. Natalie was a strong woman, who was determined to live her life quietly and frugally. She asked nothing of those who knew her beyond leaving her in peace. Yet she made a lasting impression on each of us as she went about her business in the village. At home, Natalie loved to play the piano. She was a familiar face at the Dundee Library savoring one book at a time. Natalie was born December 23, 1929 in Montour Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Michael and Rosaria {DiBratto} Pistello. Michael and Rosario came from Campodimele, Italy. She is survived by her sister Lucia Lamenta (Tony) of Willoughby Ohio. Also, 1 nephew Mike Lamenta (Melissa) and 3 nieces: Mary Lou Koch, Debbie Regenor (Ken) and Nancy Benitez (Mariano). The family would like to extend thanks and appreciation to Lew Ann Giles, and to the staff at the Homestead for their care and compassion for Natalie. Should you wish to honor your memory of Natalie, memorial contributions toward her headstone may be sent in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are by the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee, NY. Online condolences can be sent by visiting www.bairdfuneralhomedundee.com.
