We met Denny while walking with Linda at the Windmill one day, and we had some laughs together. Then we had the opportunity to spend a Thanksgiving dinner with him, Linda, and Sister Anne at Cobblestone Springs Retreat House. Listening to his stories was a highlight of that day. I know how supportive he was in helping Linda with her health and with the campgrounds they both love. And, I know you will watch over her still until you two meet again in Heaven. May you rest in peace, Denny.

Prayers to the family in Denny’s memory. We know Denny from Backachers Campground. We will always remember Denny for his smile and sense of humor. He was a very hard worker and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be greatly missed.

I spent thousands of hours working with Dennis. He taught me to “enhance my calm” as he called it. I still use that to this day. Dennis and I were the team to beat but competed against each other on everything at work. Some days it took everything I had to keep up or beat him but I wouldn’t let him know that. Dennis was hard on himself and got so upset when he made a mistake. He took pride in everything that he did. He taught me to always have finesse but when all else fails use brute force. I will always be thankful for the time I spent with him.
