Obituary of Timothy John Westfall

Timothy John Westfall Dundee: Timothy John Westfall, age 56, of Dundee, NY died Thursday March 18, 2021 at F. F. Thompson Memorial Hospital, in Canandaigua, N.Y. after a brave battle with cancer. Honoring his wishes there will be no prior calling hours. A Celebration of His Life will be held at the convenience of the family. His family respectfully asks that anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in his memory, to please consider sending them to the family c/o the funeral home for his 9 year old son's future. Tim was born Dec. 2, 1964 in Penn Yan, NY, the son of the late Edgar J. and Rosella M. (Rider) Westfall. He attended Dundee Central School but went to work before graduation. He served and was honorably discharged from the Army National Guard in 1985. He has worked as a farmer since the age of 14, on both dairy and agricultural farms, from grapes to cash crops until an accident broke his back in 1991; leaving many different farms in Yates County missing his talents. A lifelong Crystal Valley area resident his greatest passion in life was being in the great outdoors hunting and fishing. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his sole-mate and companion Shannon D. (Hoose) Krause with whom he shared his home; the mother of his two oldest sons Barbara E. (Tongate) Westfall of Dundee; 3 sons William Thomas (Hannah-Rose Brown) Westfall of Penn Yan, Timothy Michael Westfall of Dundee, and young Christopher Jonathan Westfall at home; a granddaughter Crystal Elizabeth Westfall; 4 brothers Michael P. Westfall, Joel T. (Tammy) Westfall both of Dundee, Mark K. Westfall of Penn Yan, and Lyle W. (Annette Keck) Westfall also of Dundee; 4 sisters Cathy A. (Jerry) Krnotch of Newfield, NY, Barbara Jean Dennis of Colorado, Debbie L. Ferguson of Keuka Park, NY, and Sandy M. Scott of Dundee; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
