John was more then just a person who helped you find the vehicle of your dreams. His amazing personality, his smile was genuine. He always treated you like family. We purchased 5 vehicles from him. Every time we would bring in a vehicle for an oil change we went home with a brand new one. It was our private joke. His coworkers knew it too. His knowledge and determination to make sure that we were happy was his number one priority. We were both caught off guard with this which made it more difficult. We are both heartbroken and our thoughts are with his wife and children who he talked about often. A proud Dad. Going back to the dealership will never be the same without his smile. We're still in denial. You were more then our favorite manager but an extension of our family. We really miss you and will never forget you John -ever! RIP Captain John.

I've known John since first grade. We were in almost every class together through our school years, and I saw him pretty regularly after that.
John had a wacky sense of humor, and you never knew what to expect. I always looked forward to what he was going to say and do next.
Although we later drifted apart as we grew up and did the family thing, it was great when we could reconnect, and I still consider him one of my best friends.
John was an outside the box thinker, and was always putting plans into motion that lesser men would never even dream about.
I will forever treasure the memories.
Rest in peace, brother.

We are extremely saddened by this news. John sold us so many vehicles, he was almost family. John always went out of his way to help us, even in another state. John will definitely be missed. We pray for peace and comfort for his loved ones

John was a extremely kind, caring person. His infectious smile was so much more than that in a person. He always went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you were happy with your vehicle. And what made it more convenient is him coming to your home to deliver it. John always made sure things were perfect. The car industry has lost a true gentleman in sales. John, rest in peace my friend, buying a car won't be the same. Our condolences to your family...a wonderful car salesman was taken too soon.

John's smile was always a shining light. His laugh was infectious and his true compassion for people was authentic. John touched my families life in so many ways. He was first a friend then a true professional when assisting with multiple vehicle purchases. He never disappointed with finding exactly what we wanted. My best memories were boat rides on the lake, surprising my husband with an awesome truck, and numerous hugs and smiles. You will be truly missed by our family! Prayers to Renee, Q, Lanie and his family. He was an amazing man. RIP my friend.

John....I'm going to miss your warm welcome every time I go to the dealership.
You always made me feel like I was your only customer, and you never disappointed me with any of the cars you sold me.
You were a friend who always tried to please, never just a salesman trying to sell a car. I am so glad I always listened to you and I know that I will never find that kind of care and concern ever again. Thank You For Everything John, Rest in Peace.
Renee, Quentin, and Lanie, may you all find peace in knowing he left this world doing something he loved and left thousands of people behind who loved and respected him. He was one of a kind. You were blessed to have him as your husband and father. May your faith and God's strength ease your grief and give you the comfort in knowing you will see him again someday.
With love and respect,
Baird Booth
