Obituary of Margo Lee Kelly

Margo Lee Kelly Dundee: Margo Lee Kelly, age 78, of Dundee, NY died unexpectedly yet peacefully on Wednesday November 16, 2022 in the comfort of her home. Honoring her wishes there will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at the convenience of her family. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad, 12 Union St., Dundee, NY 14837. Margo was born August 26, 1944 in the Village of Bath, NY, the daughter of the late Peter L. and Lida (Reynolds) Westervelt of Hammondsport, NY. She graduated from Bath High School in 1962. She started her career with Seneca Foods shortly after graduation, and spent the next 35 years in the office and lab finally retiring from Northland Cranberry. Loving partner since 1985, she married Samuel R. Kelly on Feb. 18, 1997 in Daytona Beach, FL. Helping with the bookkeeping of Kelly Farms Milk Hauling; they were partners with the Hough family, operating Black Rock Speedway, from 1995-2000; with Margo in charge of the concession stands. She loved all types of motor sports, tractor pulls and summer rides in the hot rod. In her spare time, she loved caring for her home, her yard, gardens, and entertain friends and family on her front porch. But her greatest joy was taking care of her husband, and traveling, looking forward to wintering in Florida, as they have done for the last several years. She is loved and will be dearly missed by her husband Sam Kelly at home; her son Clint Miller, 4 grandchildren Katelynn (Patrick) Kerrick, Logan, CJ, and Bella Miller; her sister Judy O'brachta; many nieces, and nephew, along with Sam's children which were loved like her own, Bobby (Tammy) Kelly, Tim (Tracy) Kelly, Sam (Suzie) Kelly, and Shannon Herrick; and literally countless friends.
