Dear Louise,
Our entire family sends you our deepest condolences on the passing of Donald.
We all grew to know Don and his family well, having our father such a long time part of the jewelry business.
I am very pleased that he spent his "golden years" with the love of his life, he seemed so happy the last time I saw you both in Watkins. He was a kind and loving guy!
With warmest regards,
Betsy Hilfiger

Louise , Family & Friends,
So remember how when you went into the store he'd greet each person as if you'd known each other for years! He'd speak of baseball , with my dad , not sure if he loved the game it's self or his team! Came down to everything baseball ! The two of them would talk about it all ! His smile, laugh , Knew everyone in Elmira, everything going on or what should be going on to make the area even bigger and better! So positive! May you all find comfort in sharing memories thru these days as you spend them together.

Q: How did you meet Donald?
A: I was so sorry to hear of Donald's passing. I remember years ago when I was a child how my mother would come into Shreibman's and spend the afternoon shopping and chatting with Donald and his mother and father. I will never forget his love for sports and especially baseball. Heartfelt thoughts and hugs to you Louise.
