Obituary of Becky Corbitt

Rebecca A. Corbitt Dundee: Rebecca A. Corbitt, age 65, of Dundee, NY gave up her fight, and passed away Friday May 31, 2024 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family and closest friends. Honoring her wishes there will be no prior calling hours; everyone is invited to a celebration of her life Saturday June 22 from 1:00 – until at the Dundee VFW, Seneca St. Ext., where she worked for many years. Memorial contributions may be made to Ontario-Yates County Hospice Assoc., 756 Pre-Emption Rd., Geneva, NY 14456. 'Becky' was born January 5, 1959 in the Town of Urbana, NY, the daughter of the late Pete and Alice Mae (SeChrist) Zachman. She graduated from Dundee Central School in 1977. A lifelong area resident 'Becky" was a professional bar tender, having served everyone who ever stepped foot in the establishments; having worked for many years at The Pour House, and the Dundee VFW. She is survived by 2 daughters Christina L. Corbitt with whom she made her home, Brandy L. (Chad) Corbitt of Beaver Dams; and a son Joshua J. Corbitt of Dundee; her life partner for over 25 years, Paul Beach at home; grandchildren Jared Horton (Donna Lee and Oliah) of Colorado, Robert Bell of Dundee, Franky Bell of Beaver Dams, Gabriella & Isabella Trank of Dundee, Victoria Wilson of Dundee, Emma Austerman of Penn Yan, CJ and Serenity Craven of Beaver Dams; bonus children who she loved like her own, Shawna Orr of Penn Yan, Maria (Orville) Bell of Dundee, Amanda MacMillan of Rochester, Naomi Pelton of Himrod, Ashley Hall of Erin, NY, Victor Wilson of Dundee; along with many bonus grandkids.
