So sorry to hear about your dear wife and mother but our loss is heaven's gain.
What a sweet lady she was. I have fond memories of spending time with her.
Most memorable was going to Jamaica together.
Blessings to you all.
Wishing you were closer so I could stop by and give you all a hug.
Love and prayers, Mary Lois (Stoltzfus) Beard

My prayers are with you Reuben and your entire family. There are so many memories to share! Where do you start? My memories are full of laughing and smiles and hugs and such a love of life. If something needed to be done you and Esther would open your home for anything. Memories of making submarine sandwiches in your basement for Crystal Valley Christian school and our youth group meeting there. If most of us run on 110 voltage, Esther ran on 220! I am such a better person for having known her. She was always ready with a listening ear and ardent prayer. It makes the world a sadder place just knowing she’s not here. Thankfully we have the hope of a future reunion. Love you all!

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Esther. She was an amazing woman, a woman of God. Both Ruben and Esther were supportive friends of my mom.
When mom could no longer get around easily she would host a prayer meeting at her apartment once a week. I remember sitting in on those prayer meetings along with Esther, Joan Hayes and Esther Mast; I was in the company of some of the most powerful women of God. No condemnation always met with love, support and encouragement. And oh those prayers that went up so powerful and answered over and over again.
Then when mom had to go to the Homestead, I secured a small private room for once a week and these precious women would continue to come and pray together. That room, to me, will always be know as their "War Room".
I am so blessed to have known her and the times we had together. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless, Nancy Davis
