Esther P. Smoker Dundee: Esther P. Smoker, age 87, of Dundee, NY passed away Monday January 13, 2020 with her family at her bedside at the Keuka Comfort Care Home, Penn Yan, NY. There were no prior calling hours. A graveside service was held at 2:00 pm Wednesday (Jan. 15) in Conestoga Mennonite Church Cemetery, Route 23, Morgantown, PA. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 am Saturday (Jan. 18) at the Assembly of God Church Route 14A Penn Yan, NY. Esther was born May 1, 1932 in Morgantown, PA, the daughter of the late John S. and Elizabeth "Lizzie" {Petersheim} Stoltzfus. On Nov. 6, 1951 in Morgantown, PA she married Reuben Z. Smoker; they have lived locally since 1975. Mrs. Smoker was an active member of Assembly of God Church. She is survived by her husband of 68 years Reuben Z. Smoker at home; 2 sons Mahlon (Sandra) Smoker of Himrod, NY, Lloyd (Darlene) Smoker of Lancaster, PA; 2 daughters Darlene (Amos) Fox of Sarasota, FL, Karen S. (Dean) Hillyard of Weston, NY; 20 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; a sister Ada (Roy) Burkhart of Lancaster, PA; and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Sharon twin of Karen; 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
