Obituary of Laurence Paul Gaudino

Laurence Paul Gaudino Penn Yan: Laurence Paul "Larry" Gaudino, age 74, of Penn Yan, NY passed away Friday June 2, 2023 in the comfort of his home, with his devoted wife at his side, following a long courageous battle. Honoring his wishes there are no prior calling hours; and he will be buried privately with Military Honors in New York State Veterans Cemetery, Romulus, New York. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Marine Corp Heritage Foundation 1775 Semper Fidelis Way, Triangle, VA 22172 of which he was a proud member. Larry was born May 25, 1949 in Du Bois, PA, the second oldest of twelve children of the late Alfred P. and Mary R. (Hetrick) Gaudino. At 18 he volunteered and served four years in the U.S. Marine Corp, 1967-1971 RVN and served in the Vietnam War, then completing his service to our country in the reserves until his military retirement. On Dec. 17, 1977 he married the former Cindy L. Parrott. He was steadfast, strong, loving and devoted husband. Mr. Gaudino was a Financial Planner and founder of L.P. Gaudino Inc., in Bath, NY, retiring in 2003. In his spare time, he loved hunting , fishing and riding motorcycles with his extended brothers. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Cindy L. Gaudino at home; his daughter Johanna C. Gaudino of Wayland, NY, and his son Thomas P. Gaudino of Bath, NY, grandchildren Karmen (Joseph), Lindsay, Cody, Cohen, and Casie; 2 great grandchildren Wesley & Ella who were the sunshine of his day. 11 brothers & sisters; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and several lifelong friends. Beside his parents, he was predeceased by a great grandson Jeffery. His Vietnam brothers, David, Kenneth, Roger; and his beloved dog Sadie.
